Ron has never held elective office–ever. Working in the construction industry, he will never become part of the Madison “establishment.” He’s going to Madison to get the job done and go home.
The Democrats’ “cap and tax” global warming bill would have destroyed manufacturing in Wisconsin. Instead, we need a state government that will help attract not discourage good, high-paying, manufacturing jobs. Manufacturing industry is attracted to lower taxes, a well-prepared workforce, less onerous regulation, and lower energy costs. Ron will work hard to make Wisconsin a good place to do business.

Ron believes that patients and their doctors should make healthcare decisions, not government bureaucracies. Patients deserve choices in insurance and healthcare and their care should not be dictated by government bureaucrats. Ron will work hard for healthcare reform that puts healthcare decisions in the hands of the people and not impose additional taxes and fees on people who already have the health insurance coverage they want.
Ron will work for a state constitutional amendment to preserve the right to make our own choices in healthcare coverage.

Too many lawmakers in Madison are out of touch with the people. They are more interested in pleasing special interests and lobbyists than the people who elected them. They have forgotten that they work for the people, not special interests.
Ron will make common sense decisions with the interests of the people first. He will work hard to be an independent voice for the voters.

The Second Amendment and our state constitution guaranty our right to keep and bear arms. Ron believes that law abiding citizens should have the choice to exercise that right to protect themselves and their families. He will work for passage of concealed carry weapons legislation that will give Wisconsin residents the same privileges people have in 48 other states.
